Exactly, third party exclusives just means MS bought my game out for under me - an asshole thing to do imho. Never got interested in Bioshock or GTA episodes when they expect me to be months after the hype dies down and I'm on to something new and more exciting.
Making money > making games, I suppose. Stupid, greedy pubs.
A lot of what MS is proposing is in TVs themselves. Apple is going to have a TV, no fugly boxes needed. Samsung already does. MS is just late.
World Breaker Hulk would have many of the same weapons, but he wouldn't need the health. Plus he would lead the Warbound in battle.
I've read a giant sized Poseidon attacking Atlantis in Avengers. In the story Zeus fought all of the Avengers (Thor, Black Knight, Cap, Namor, Shulkie and Captain Marvel) and barely won. He then turned and beat the snot out of Herc, his own son, in a rage until he realized who he is. So...pretty equal the two Zeus' are, I'd say.
THAT being said, the same conclusion usually happens when the Avengers fight the Hulk. Or even if the entire world fights the Hulk, wh...
Zip. I'm not an early adopter and will wait till after next year's tax check at earliest.
Knee jerk reactions that ng4 is known for. I thought it was just in good fun. Even the replies.
Funny ish overall. Made me laugh at a good time.
@DK2468
And Sony delivered games and continue to show new IP. Complaining about that would be nit-picking. Just real differences in corp strategy, is all. Not a value judgment.
Maybe, but I wouldn't say fear...pride and opportunity most likely, especially if the devs are stoked.
I think its rumor control. Sony has a problem with leaks in the past. Plus the sooner they can say,...the earlier the buy in.
Both of you are on crack. Everybody knows form follows function. The box is last and least important. What ever it is will be about base usability and aesthetics, not gameplay performance, which is #1 unless you are on crack.
NON-ISSUE PEOPLE!
No biggie, but the sooner we have a face so to speak, the sooner it can occupy cognitive real estate on next gen lane, giving it more consumer awareness.
If it worked consistently, it'd be great for road trips. Mine is gimped I supposed.
Only VITA regret is getting the 3G.
Just given the facts, the PS3 has very arguably provided the greatest value of any console this gen, taking momentum that the 360 had early. If the mean of opinion is the truth, general consensus and such, it's been clearly pro-PS3 among the well-informed gamers of N4G. So if one Sony troll says what two posters unbiasedly have as opinion, all three of us are members of the SDF, and N4G is somehow a den of Sony fanboys. LOL!
Funny how Sony gets all this hate and anyone who disagrees is lumped in with fanboys...typically by fanboys.
True with Xbox too, but I don't think Sony fanboys are nearly as hypocritical. A lot of us are just gamers with opinions, and Sony arguably has outperformed 360. Don't be offended; it ain't always a fanboy war, just opinions.
Lol,
I don't buy a lot DLC, nor do I trade in games. But I see his point.
Stupid because it ain't going to happen. As long as there is a disc reading laser CDs will be supported. The medium is too cheap and unobstrusive to not include when BluRay and DVD are. Portable CDs are nearly 2 decades old.
Regardless of the tech the devs determine what quality we can expect and they will cater to the lowest denominator so they can have games on both systems at parity.
Sony is feeding off the fact that MS doesn't really try to cover breadth of gamer preferences itself, leaving that to 3rd parties. Their main focus is whoring Kinect to casuals and LIVE to MP shooters.
Despite its own concerns as well as a crap economic situation (more so in Japan than US), they deliver on new IP. Sony, likely due to being a Japanese firm, knows the world culture of gaming more, or at least respects it more.
We get an Ico or Heavy Rain...
Metal Gear was on the orig. Xbox and 360.
